Kicking off the new year by trialling new technology!

As part of our ongoing evaluation of alternative fuel solutions, we recently trialled the Volvo FM Electric Prime Mover within our Victorian operations, based out of Altona.

This trial forms part of PrixCar's broader commitment to assessing emerging technologies as they enter the market. Throughout the trial, our teams gathered insights across vehicle performance, suitability with different trailer configurations, driver feedback, charging requirements, and how electric heavy vehicles will integrate with our existing operations.

Real-world trials like this allow us to confirm operational suitability and understand how electric prime movers can be effectively integrated into our existing fleet in the future.
