PrixCar Opens New Purpose-Built Townsville Facility, Strengthening North Queensland Operations

We're proud to officially open our new purpose-built Townsville facility, marking an exciting new chapter for PrixCar in North Queensland.

It was fantastic to celebrate this milestone alongside our Townsville team, Directors and Board Members, BM Webb-the facility developer, and industry stakeholders including the Port of Townsville. Together, we recognised not only the completion of a significant project, but also the continued growth of an operation that has been part of the PrixCar story for almost 30 years.

Since commencing operations in 1996 with just two on-site team members supporting road train movements between Central New South Wales and North Queensland, Townsville has grown into a critical hub within our national network. Today, the site is home to an expanded team across vehicle processing and transport functions, supporting customers throughout North Queensland and beyond.

This new facility reflects our long-term commitment to the region, featuring advanced vehicle processing capabilities, sustainable design principles, and substantial vehicle storage capacity to support the evolving needs of our customers.
